Parent and Child area in the church nave

WMT completes a pilot project in the Lutheran church in Thening

The return-to-school church service on 09/10/2010 marked the start of new era for parents attending the Lutheran church in Thening (Upper Austria). No longer do they have to leave the church service to change nappies or rock their child to sleep. With a new Parent & Child area right next to the altar, they can now comfortably continue participating in the service. A significant contribution to making this possible is the innovative church heating system from WMT. Over the last few weeks, 25 m2 of infrared floor panels were laid over the existing nave floor and the area finished off with a suitable carpet to make it “crawling-friendly”. The radiated warmth delivered by the system provides a high heat output with very low energy consumption.

An oasis of well-being right in the church’s nave, was created with only minimal refurbishment. Following positive initial reactions from the church congregation, WMT and those in charge at the parish church can look forward to the winter 2011/2012!
